Objectives

Mathematics and Physical Sciences are fundamentals to all engineering disciplines. The Department of Mathematics clubbed with Humanities is headed by a Professor with a Ph.D and exhaustive teaching experience to his credit. He leads a committed team of 2 Assistant Professors with Ph.D., and 12 Assistant Professors with P.G. in the Department.

The Department of English, a spirited component of the Department of Humanities takes up various activities like Group Discussions, seminar presentations, conversation practice, Debates, quiz competitions, etc., so as to harness the innate talent of the young students. The students have enthusiastically come forward to start a Communication Club that helps to harness various communication skills under the guidance of the English faculty.

The Phonetics and Communicator skills labs are established to help the Engineering students improve their communication skills through most modern techniques of teaching English as a second language. All third year students are given regular soft skills training to make them more employable and these classes are allotted a slot in the timetable.

The Physics Department is headed by a senior Professor with Ph.D. who has two decades of research and teaching experience supported by an Assistant Professor with M.Phil., and an Assistant Professor with Post Graduation. This Department has well equipped Optics and general laboratories.
